Celebrity chefs Ainsley Harriott, Glynn Purnell and Aldo Zill were among the food stars bringing a whole range of taste sensations to Solihull’s most successful ever Food Festival.
Organised by Solihull BID - the Business Improvement District for the town centre - the celebration of cuisine from around the world saw thousands enjoy a range of exquisite dishes - thanks to RR Events Conteinental STreet Market - and live music from ska and reggae acts in Mell Square.
Ainsley, headlined the live cooking demo kitchen and he was joined by the ‘Yummy Brummie’ Glynn Purnell, Italian maestro Aldo Zilli, MasterChef 2022 runner-up Pookie Tredell and Solihull’s own Michelin star chef Rob Palmer from Toffs.
There was a host of free children’s activities too - including roaming dinosaurs, kids menu trail, free face painting alongside a kids disco, fairground rides and a giant ferris wheel.
