Sephora UK: Countdown is on as grand opening of major store inside Birmingham's Bullring just days away

Sephora is launching its sixth UK store at the Bullring in Birmingham city centre this Winter. Here’s everything you need to know.

Anticipation is building in Birmingham's Bullring as the opening of Sephora draws near.

Advertisements adorn the shopping centre teasing the store's opening on November 13.

It is the store's 6th UK store and will be on the Upper Mall of the Bullring is huge - and crowds are expected for the opening.

BirminghamWorld contacted bosses at Sephora to check what the plans were for the opening day, but details have not yet been confirmed.

It is based next to the under-refurbishment River Island, which reopens on Saturday (Nov 9) after a major glow-up.

The new shop is set to be open before Christmas on the second floor in Bullring’s west mall, next to River Island.

It will sell a wide range of make-up, fragrances, skin care, hair care and grooming products including Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty range, Glossier and Kayali.

A huge hoarding in its signature black and white branding hangs at the 4,925 sqft retail space. Emblazoned on the front is the fun message ‘Birmingham, we’re coming for you bab!’

Customers will also be able to get beauty treatments at the Birmingham’s store. Dyson will provide hair styling, Benefit will have a brow bar and Elemis, Dermalogica and Seasonly skincare treatments will be on offer.

Sephora shoppers will be able to earn points towards rewards and attend in-store events through its newly-launched loyalty scheme MySephora.

The beauty chain is part of French company LVMH, which also owns luxury brands Louis Vuitton and Dior.

Sara Boyd, MD of Sephora UK, said: “We have once again harnessed the power of listening to our customers to shape our expansion plans around the UK, and the appetite that our beauty community in Birmingham made was profoundly powerful.”
