Birmingham is known for being a loud and active city.
Whether it's the busy nightlife, summer festivals or Blues and Vlilla supporters enjoying a few drinks on match day, Birmingham is one of the UK's busiest cities.
But while many of those living in Brum may enjoy the hustle and bustle of the big city, there are plenty of areas ideal for those looking for a quieter life.
We asked the BirminghamWorld readers to let us know what they think are the quietest places to live in the city - and here are some of the answers we received:
1. Bournville
Birmingham's model village and the home of Cadbury received a few mentions from our readers. The peaceful south Birmingham area is a leafy village away from the city centre. One Facebook user, Adam, said: "I was shocked when I moved to Bournville after living in the city centre. It was too quiet for me, and I moved back."
2. Great Barr
Saira said: "Great Barr is a nice quiet area especially the B42 area."
3. Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield
Mere Green was also mentioned a few times by our readers. The Sutton village does have a mixture of independent shops, bars and restaurants and is one of the city's more affluent areas
4. Woodgate Valley
With the idylic Woodgate Valley country park on their doorstep, residents of the neighbourhood live in one of the more quieter areas of north Birmingham
