Quaint village just outside of Birmingham crowned one of Britain's poshest suburbs
The Telegraph published its list of the poshest suburbs across Britain, based on new research by Savills.
These neighbourhoods stand out for having the highest number of households with the biggest mortgages—indicating high earnings and premium property prices.

What these places have in common: spacious family homes, vibrant high streets packed with independent delis, top-rated restaurants, and wine bars. There’s plenty of green space, and strong schools are right on the doorstep. These are Britain’s most sought-after places to live.
One West Midlands village made the cut in the findings: Dorridge.

Part of the affluent Solihull suburban sprawl, Dorridge - along with its neighbour Knowle - is one of the priciest areas in the region.

The village offers direct rail services to Birmingham (around 15 minutes) and London Marylebone (approximately 1 hour 42 minutes), making it ideal for commuters.
Dorridge has its own “golden triangle” of prestigious roads near the station, where properties are in especially high demand. Average house prices in the area hover around £699,000.
The village also has a buzzing local scene, with favourites like Skogen Kitchen serving wood-fired pizza and cocktails.
We visited Dorridge to find out what’s driving all the buzz.
