A freehold parcel of land in a busy Birmingham suburb that could be redeveloped subject to planning permission is appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction

The site fronts a road known as The Fordrough in Northfield and will have a guide price* of £125,000+ in the livestreamed auction on Thursday 27 March.

The Fordrough leads to the popular West Heath Park and is not far away from Northfield Train Station on the Cross-City Line.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “This is a cleared and vacant rectangular parcel of land which may be suitable for redevelopment for a variety of uses, subject to the necessary planning consents. The site extending to approximately 337 square metres and is being sold subject to any existing rights of way that are documented or otherwise exercised over the property.

“Potential uses could include educational, community or residential, although no guarantee is offered in respect of such consents being available.”

The site is being sold by Bond Wolfe on behalf of Birmingham City Council. In addition to the purchase price, the purchaser will be required to pay the council's professional fees of £2,850.

The land will be among 176 lots appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction, which is due to start at 8.30am on Thursday 27 March.

The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
