A guide price of £1.22million has been set for the former Ivy Leaf social club at 2296 Coventry Road, in the east Birmingham area of Sheldon.

It sits on 0.75 acres of land and has planning consent for demolition and redevelopment to build a three-storey block of 50 apartments with a ground floor retail unit and car parking.

Sheldon retail park is within walking distance of the site and is anchored by Marks & Spencer Food and Morrisons with additional occupiers including B&M, The Gym Group.

The former Ivy Leaf club will be among scores of lots appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction which is due to start at 8.30am on 11 December.
