Blue Cross charity in Bromsgrove are looking for furrever families for seven adorable dogs - who can make anyone happy. If you were planning to get a dog, why not check out the local charities where you can adopt?
There are several animal charities in and around Birmingham that are doing amazing work and need space for bringing in other dogs that might need help. The dogs they post about for adoption are the ones who are ready to head out to a new home - where they will thrive.
The dogs in the animal charities’s care don’t always come from the best situations and can do with loads of love and care for the rest of their lives. Dogs are loyal creatures who are not afraid to show their love to their pawrents and you could become one of those people who receives a pooch’s unconditional love.
Find out more about making a Blue Cross dog part of your family on their adoption process page. Here are seven dogs in Bromsgrove that need a home now:

1. Rio
He is a 6.5 years old Lurcher. Rio is a social boy, and he loves being out and about exploring. He would suit owners who enjoy walks in the country. He can potentially live with another in his new home we would just need to make sure they get along first here at the centre.Due to his high prey drive Rio cannot live with any cats or small furries. He can potentially live with school aged children in his new home who will be able to get involved in his care but will understand when he needs to be left alone. | Blue Cross

2. Harley
Harley is a very sweet natured girl, and likes to be in your company however she is not a typical lap dog. She is a Lhasa Apso. Harley could potentially live with older teenage children who are used to dogs, and will understand when she will need her rest and space. Harley would need to be the only pet in the home. | Blue Cross

3. Nancy
Nancy is a 4-year-old Chihuahua who is looking for a new home. She arrived in from a hoarding home where there was 14 other animals in the house and Nancy was heavily pregnant. Nancy had a C-section and had 1 healthy little puppy called Poppy. Poppy and Nancy are now both ready to go off to new homes. Nancy is best suited to a home without any dogs but could live with cats again in a new home. Due to never being out on walks prior, Nancy will need to be with owners who can go really slowly with her and slowly socialise her to the outside world. | Blue Cross

4. Felicity
She is a gorgeous German Shepherd, who is believed to be aged between 5 and 8 years old. She enjoys being with people, but Flick has had a very isolated life up until now, so the charity are looking for an adult home willing to give her time and patience to adapt to life as a real companion! They would really like her new owners to have access to a nice secure garden as well as quieter or more rural walking areas as we think at this stage she would find urban areas over stimulating. | Blue Cross
