Serving the perfect and classic Neapolitan pizza since 2015 from its original Rudy’s in Ancoats, Manchester, the much-loved Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana has since opened on Bennetts Hill in Birmingham - and now it’s set for its second Brummie venue, in the space where Cielo restaurant was previously on Oozells Street in Brindleyplace.

Born out of passion for pizza, Rudy’s follows the authentic Neapolitan tradition of pizza making, serving classic recipes such as Marinara, Margherita and Calabrese – all originating from Naples, the birthplace of pizza.

Rudy’s dough is made fresh daily using Caputo ‘00’ flour which ferments for at least 24 hours, alongside the best quality ingredients imported from Naples, including San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields next to Mount Vesuvius, and Fior di Latte mozzarella.

All in accordance to a truly authentic Neapolitan technique, the dough is cooked in a Stefano Ferrara oven for just 60 seconds – resulting in a soft and light pizza with an airy and raised cornicione (the edge or rim of the pizza). The brand-new 90-cover restaurant is due to open at Brindleyplace on Monday 6th February.

Josh Cheevers, General Manager of Rudy’s Brindleyplace, said: "We look forward to opening our doors on Oozells Street from Monday 6th February. The team have loved serving our Neapolitan pizza in Birmingham and we hope this new site will be another welcoming addition for the city.”

Rudy’s Brindleyplace opens seven days a week, Monday to Sunday, from 12pm until 8pm. Book a table at Rudy’s Pizza, Brindleyplace.
