A Vietnamese culinary adventure in the heart of Birmingham: Here’s why I loved it
Vietnamese Street Kitchen at Birmingham Bullring is nothing short of amazing.
From the moment we stepped in, I liked it instantly. The vibrant yet cosy atmosphere transported me straight to the bustling streets of Vietnam.

The food was the true star of the experience.

We ordered several plates to share including the fried chicken dumplings, the king prawns drizzled with sriracha mayonnaise, steamed bao bun filled with super tasty crispy friend chicken and the homemade curry, which is accompanied with a homemade curry sauce and jasmine rice.

The food is divine. Freshly prepared, packed with flavour and a medley of ingredients that are so tasty you just want to keep eating more. The balance of spices and textures was spot on, making every bite a delight.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We took their advice on what to order and it didn’t disappoint - the dumplings being a particular favourite.

Their passion for Vietnamese cuisine shone through, enhancing the overall experience.
Given the quality and portion sizes, the pricing was very reasonable. It felt like I was indulging in a fine dining experience but at a street food price—a rare and delightful combination.
The décor was thoughtfully designed to reflect Vietnamese culture, with a mix of modern touches and traditional elements. It’s a great spot for casual dining, family meals, or even a quick lunch.
If you're craving authentic Vietnamese food or simply want to explore a new cuisine, Vietnamese Street Kitchen is a must-visit.

The story behind the street kitchen makes it even more unique. On the menu it says: “It all started 40 years ago when a Vietnamese family left their native country and travelled across the world, in search of adventure and a better life. The journey was long and at times difficult, but one thing bonded them as a family and reminded them of their homeland; cooking.”
This message rings through the experience of eating there - brilliant authentic cooking bringing people from all walks of life together in the bustling heart of Birmingham city centre.
There are other branches too - they are also at Resorts World.

We will most-definitely return to try more of the amazing menu.
