Toby Carvery in Sutton Coldfield closes to make way for new restaurant
The Toby Carvery restaurant in Sutton Coldfield has closed its doors and is set to reopen as Browns Bar & Restaurant.
The venue ceased trading yesterday (Monday, September 9) and is set to reopen as Browns bar in the coming months. A sign was put up outside the restaurant confirming the venue’s last day of trading as a Toby Carvery was on Monday

Hide AdToby Carvery is one of the most popular pub dining establishments in Britain, serving roast dinners at good value for money. The venue is located in the Sutton Park beauty spot, and has been used by residents from across Sutton Coldfield and Erdington over the years.
Browns Brassiere and Bar is a classy restaurant chain that offers seasonal British food and signature cocktails. Both Toby Carvery and Browns are owned by the Mitchell and Butler company.
The Sutton Park venue would be the second Browns in Birmingham, with the other venue located in the city centre, nestled between St Martin’s Square and the Bullring.
The opening date for the Browns site in Sutton Coldfield has yet to be confirmed.
