Birmingham's food scene made a remarkable impression on the national level, with Grace & Savour and Opheem being honored in the top 100 of the National Restaurant Awards.
Opheem, coming in at number 8, is a tribute to Chef Aktar Islam's exceptional talent in the kitchen. This restaurant redefines progressive Indian cuisine by combining thorough research with avant-garde European methods.

Established in Summer Row in 2018, Opheem is renowned for its elaborate tasting menu while also offering an affordable set lunch menu. The dishes are creations of Birmingham's own Aktar Islam, who applies modern European techniques not commonly found in Indian cooking.
