Hide AdBirmingham's food scene made a remarkable impression on the national level, with Grace & Savour (Solihull) and Opheem (Birmingham city centre) being honored in the top 50 of the National Restaurant Awards for the second year in a row.
Birmingham's first and only two star Michelin venue Opheem was named the 48th best venue in the UK, with Hampton-in-Arden’s Grace & Savour ranked 44th.
Opheem redefines progressive Indian cuisine by combining thorough research with avant-garde European methods.

Established in Summer Row in 2018, Opheem is renowned for its elaborate tasting menu while also offering an affordable set lunch menu. The dishes are creations of Birmingham's own Aktar Islam, who applies modern European techniques not commonly found in Indian cooking.
