Spud Bros head to Birmingham as hundreds line-up for free jacket potatoes in city centre


Spud Bros are two brothers Jacob and Harley Nelson who gained popularity online selling jacket potatoes from their mobile van in Preston.
The videos are often filmed from the perspective of the spud sellers as they serve customers, asking what toppings they want on their potato. The brothers, from Preston, have amassed around 4.2m followers on TikTok and earned millions of views on their posts.

Hide AdAnd they have brought the Spud Bros van to Birmingham city centre this week as part of a collaboration with Playstation ahead of Aston Villa’s Champions League tie against PSG tonight.
A post to the Spud Bros Facebook page on Monday evening read: "We're going to be at Rotunda Square, Birmingham, tomorrow from 11am! 600 FREE spuds available... NEW FILLINGS!"


Hundreds of people also queued up near the Bullring on Wednesday as part of the Playstation event that included a Spud Bros food stall where the two brothers were on had to hand out their famous food.
