The Michelin Guide Ceremony for Great Britain and Ireland is taking place tonight - celebrating the finest restaurants and announcing new Stars.
The event, which is being held at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow, will announce the new and returning Michelin Stars for 2025 to an invited audience of top chefs and industry figures.

Diego Ferrari & Emily Roux at Caractere in London, England were awarded One Star.


Jason Atherton & Spencer Metzger at Row on 5 in London, England have been awarded One Star.


Ballyfin
Richard Picard-Edwards at Ballyfin in Ballyfin, ROI has been awarded One Star.


Plates London
Kirk Haworth at Plates London in London, England has been awarded One Star. It is the first vegan restaurant to be awarded a Michelin award.


Females in the industry
Michelin have paid special tribute to shine a light on women in the industry. Interviews with female chefs have been shown, who have shared moving, personal testimonials.
Homestead Kitchen
Peter Neville at Homestead Kitchen in Goathland, England has been awarded a Green Star.


Jericho
Richard Stevens at Jerico in Plungar, England has been awarded a Green Star.


Ivan Tisdall-Downes at Native in Tenbury Wells, England has been awarded a Green Star.


Wild Shropshire
James Sherwin at Wild Shropshire in Whitchurch, England has been awarded a Green Star.


Pythouse Kitchen Garden
Darren Broom at Pythouse Kitchen Garden in Tisbury, England has been awarded a Green Star.


Hide and Fox
Allister Barsby at Hide and Fox in Saltwood, England has been awarded Two Stars.


The Ritz Restaurant
John Williams MBE at The Ritz Restaurant in London, England has been awarded Two Stars. Williams recieved a huge standing ovation.


Humble Chicken
Angelo Sato at Humble Chicken in London, England was awarded Two Stars.

Simon Rogan at L’Enclume in Cartmel, England
Clare Smyth MBE at Core by Clare Smyth in London, England
Alain Roux at Waterside Inn in Bray, England
Jean-Phillipe Blondet Alain Duccasse at The Dorchester in London, England
Matt Abe at Restaurant Gordon Ramsey in London, England
Marco Zampese at Helene Darroze at The Connaught in London, England
Daniel Stucki at Sketch, The Lecture Room and Library in London, England
Newly awarded three star restaurant - Moor Hall
Mark Birchall at Moor Hall in Augyton, England is the only restaurant to be newly awarded with three stars for 2025.
Moor Hall opened in 2017 and host Amanda Stretton said it has been “nothing short of sensational”. Moor Hall was awarded its first star from Michelin in 2018, its second in 2019 and now has been awarded Three Stars in 2025.
Birchall was very emotional as he accepted the award, and spoke of his gratitute towards his team and his family.

The ceremony has now finished, with many talented chefs and restaurants across the UK being recognised for their contribution to the hospitality industry.
Highlights from the event include:
• 145 new additons to the Michelin Guide for 2025
• 36 restaurants in Great Britain were awarded a Bib Gourmand
• Michelin highlighted the work of females in the industry
• Plates London is the first vegan restaurant to be awarded a Michelin star
• Moor Hall was the only restaurant to be newly awarded with Three Stars for 2025
