Many Muslim people around the world, including in Birmingham, follow Ramadan - which is a period of fasting and abstaining from things considered impure. During that time, they don’t eat or drink during daylight hours.
This year, the month of Ramadan starts on March 23 and will go on till April 21. Every day, those doing the fast break it in the evening at a specific time, based on the Islamic calendar. The meal to break the fast is called Iftar and as during other times, only Halal products are consumed.

This restaurant on Ladypool Road serves Lebanese and Moroccon food. They have a special Ramadan menu from March 23 to April 22 available from 5pm to 10pm every day.
