A French cafe in Moseley is now on the market

The award-winning French cafe Maison Mayci in Moseley is now on the market for £199,950.

The Boulangerie, Patisserie and cafe opened its doors on Alcester Road in 2005 and has become a popular venue amongst locals over the last 19 years.

It’s ran by owners David and Rémi and over the years it has become known for its fresh roasted coffee and a range of artisan breads and pastries baked daily, with breakfast and lunch menus to choose from.

The venue competed on ITV’s Britain’s Best Bakery finishing in second place in the national finals in 2014 and bake off the professional 2022 finishing fourth. The cafe has an annual turnover of £350,000 net of vat, according to Zoopla.

A statement on the Zoopla website about the cafe, reads: “Beritas Business Sales offer to the market this delightful French Café Bar & Bakery which is located in Moseley village.

“The business was established by our client 20 years ago and they are now offering the business for sale so that they can enjoy a well deserved retirement.
