Birmingham is a multicultural city with people from many different ethnicities living here, including Asia. There’s probably hundreds of Chinese food restaurants and takeaways and several dozens of Japanese eateries - but there are far fewer Korean food options available.

So, we took a look at the Korean food restaurants and takeaways available in Brum. Most of the restaurants are well-loved among diners and unsurprisingly, many are located right in the middle of Birmingham city centre. However, there are some great options in south Birmingham as well.

One of the most popular dishes that comes to mind in Korean cuisine is the BBQ - which is a social meal enjoyed with friends and family. The first time I had a Korean BBQ, it was a lesson in food etiquette since the host told us that the BBQ won’t be brought out until all members of the dining party had arrived (not all restaurants are as strict, though!). Once everyone did arrive, we were served with several side dishes to go with our choice of meat. You can pick anything from chicken, lamb, pork and beef.
