A Birmingham restaurant has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Syrian House, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 392 Coventry Road, Nechells, Birmingham was given the score after assessment on August 19, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Birmingham's 1,727 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 905 (52%) have ratings of five and just 24 have zero ratings.
