The English Curry Awards has been announced and the 2023 shorlist includes several popular eateries from Birmingham.
However, we won’t find out who the winners are until August 14 when the awards ceremony will take place at the Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre.

Hide AdNow in its 12th year, the English Curry Awards has continued to shine a spotlight on the talented individuals and teams behind curry restaurants.
The organisers - Oceanic Consulting - said: “The shortlisted finalists were picked by the public and each finalist has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and authenticity, and has made a significant contribution to the curry scene in their respective regions.”
The English Curry Awards 2023 finalists span a range of categories, including Curry Restaurant of the Year, Takeaway of the Year, Chef of the Year, Curry King or Queen, and many more.
