The summer might not have arrived in Birmingham yet - but that hasn’t stopped a second Christmas market announcing its opening and closing dates.
The popular Christmas in Cathedral Square Craft Market has followed Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market in unveiling the date it will open and close this year.

Hide AdToday (Monday, May 13) Danter Attractions Limited has announced that the award-winning Christmas in Cathedral Square craft market is returning to Birmingham in 2024 for the fourth year running on Wednesday, November 13. The renowned event will be open in the grounds of Birmingham Cathedral, also known as Pigeon Park, until Sunday December 22.


In case you haven’t already marked it in your diaries - here’s a reminder of when the German Christmas Market is opening in Birmingham. It’s beginning a couple of weeks earlier on Friday, November 1 and will continue right up until Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24.
Midlands-based crafts, gifts and food and drink traders invited to join Birmingham Christmas in Cathedral Square Market
The event is delivered Danter Attractions Limited in partnership with Colmore BID and they are calling on all Midlands-based crafts, gifts, and food and drink traders to apply for a stall. A spokesperson said: “This is an excellent opportunity for independent traders to promote and sell their products to local, regional, and national visitors through a much-loved, bustling event in Colmore Business District, right in the heart of Birmingham city centre.
“The application window for traders to apply is now open, with the outcome of each application determined by the end of June 2024.”

Hide AdDetails of the opening times, trading fees and the on-line application form can be found visiting the markets’, new for 2024, website - Christmas in Cathedral Square Craft Market, Birmingham. When applying, traders have the option to request a trading duration ranging from one to six weeks at the market.
