Rolls-Royce has revealed some of the most striking new cars developed by its Bespoke service over the last year.
The luxury brand enjoyed the best sales record in its 117-year history in 2021, with 5,586 cars delivered as the well-heeled of the world splashed their cash on luxury goods.
Alongside the success “regular” models such as the Ghost and Cullinan, the marque’s Bespoke arm, which creates limited edition and one-off examples tailored to individual buyers’ desires also enjoyed a successful year and has now shared some of its most “whimsical and wonderful” creations with the public.

5. Wraith and Dawn Landspeed Collection
The Landspeed Collection represents a total of 25 Black Badge Dawn and 35 of Black Badge Wraith, which are inspired by and pay tribute to world record breaker George Eyston. The cars all feature door card detailing to match the medal ribbons of the Military Cross, the Chevalier of the Légion d’honneur and the OBE, all of which Eyston was awarded. The Wraith also features a star map using 2,117 fibre optic “stars” to recreate the constellations exactly as they appeared over the Bonneville Salt Flats on 16 September 1938, the date on which Eyston set his third and final world land-speed record. | Rolls-Royce

6. Cullinan Pikes Peak
This bespoke take on the Cullinan Black Badge was commissioned by car enthusiasts and endurance racers Ben and Christine Sloss to pay homage to the legendary Pikes Peak hill-climb, one of the couple’s favourite events. Finished in a unique Pikes Peak Blue and combined with flashes of Forge Yellow on the hand-painted coachline, wheel-centre pinstripes and brake callipers, the Black Badge Cullinan carries the colours of the flag of Modena and the livery featured on the couple’s racing cars. Inside each door panel is embroidered with Mrs. Sloss’ personal racing logo – a stylized stiletto. | Rolls-Royce

7. Rolls-Royce Phantom Koa
The Phantom Koa is the first Rolls-Royce Phantom to incorporate Koa wood, a rare species of tree that grows only on Hawaiian soil. The tree is so rare that it is protected in state and national parks and can only be harvested from private agricultural land. Rolls-Royce’s wood specialists said finding a suitable source to complete the commission was a “one-in-a-million chance”. The car now forms part of the 60-strong personal collection of Jack Boyd Smith, Jr in the JBS Collection Museum. | Rolls-Royce

8. Cullinan 50th
This one-of-a-kind Cullinan was created to mark the UAE’s Golden Jubilee in 2021. The exterior, finished in Crystal over Arctic White, was adorned with a hand-painted double coachline in Hotspur Red and Fame Green and a recreation of the national flag rendered on the C-pillar Motif. The interior, with one-off “50th” treadplates and 50th inlays to the waterfall and tray tables, mirrors the exterior’s colour scheme, with the UAE’s emblem embroidered onto each headrest and a unique green-coloured shooting star in the illuminated headliner. | Rolls-Royce
