There’s nothing like a cuppa tea with a delicious Cadbury chocolate bar.

The delicious sweetness and sticky goodness of the confectionary combined with the hot soothing bevvy is a perfect pick me up.

But have you ever tried drinking your tea through a chocolate bar? Kind of using it as a sweet straw? Well it seems that Cadbury thinks this could be worth a go and it asked some dedicated testers to take up the challenge.

The team drinking chocolate experiment saw four iconic Cadbury bars put to the test. They were Crunchie, Wispa, Twirl and Time Out.

Unfortunately the first test with a Crunchie didn’t go down so well as the bar just melted in the steaming mug of tea. The Wispa bar was up next. Again, this was a fail with a commentator explaining: “So thick, nothing comes up.”

The third Cadbury chocolate bar put to the test was a Wispa bar which proved to be a resounding success. The testsers went on to try out a Time Out, and while the chocolate was deemed delicious, it failed when it came to sucking up some tea through it.

Here’s a video of the challenge. Let us know if you’ve got any tips on the best way to enjoy a Cadbury bar with your cup of tea:
