Bullring bosses say Trapstar store is 'closed for good'


The urban streetwear store has been closed for a long time with a sign on the door saying “this store is now closed”.
However, confusion reigns as when BirminghamWorld contacted Trapstar, the firm said: “Unfortunately our stores are currently undergoing refurbishment and should be open soon.”
But Bullring bosses confirmed the store was now closed.

A spokesman for Trapstar said: “Unfortunately our stores are currently undergoing refurbishment and should be open soon. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Kind regards, TrapstarTeam.”
Officially opened in 2010, the flagship store is located on West London's historic Portobello Road in the Notting Hill district.
It is described as: “Trapstar isn't just a brand in the UK it's a movement. The label's deep connection to British street culture makes it one of the most influential streetwear brands in the country.”
