36% of Birmingham couples admit to arguing more than once per month

Brummie couples are among the most argumentative in the UK, a recent study has shown.

According to the survey conducted by Hammonds Furniture, Birmingham ranks third in the country for couples arguing.

The survey, involving 2000 UK adults, uncovered that 36% of Birmingham couples argue more than once a month.

The top irritants for Brummies include not listening, stealing bed covers, and snoring.

Birmingham follows Manchester and London in the rankings.

Nationally, 'not listening' tops the list of annoying habits, affecting over half of UK relationships. Other grievances include snoring, leaving cups out, and avoiding household tasks.

Overall, more than half of UK adults in relationships find these habits particularly grating, making everyday annoyances a common topic of dispute.

Experts suggest that communication and compromise are key to managing these household irritations and maintaining harmony.
