Ozzy Osbourne has had a huge career - first with Black Sabbath and then on his own as well. For more than four decades, he has been one of the icons of rock.
The Heavy Meta band started in Birmingham in the 1960s when “Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward were looking to escape a life of factory work through music”, according to their website. Less than a decade later, Ozzy left the band and a few years after that, he started off on his solo career.
Birmingham-born Ozzy has gained many fans over the years and many of them were young kids when they first heard his music. It’s not just him, but Black Sabbath, too, continues to stay significant in the rock scene.
Ozzy and Black Sabbath have reunited many times since they parted ways with their performance at the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham being the latest collaboration.
Whether it’s the UK or the US, their fans are everywhere and they are adored by the likes of former presidents and pop stars and more.
