Adopting a cat can bring so much joy to a household, whilst also offering a loving home to a feline friend in need. Ending the year with the gift of adoption to a moggy who needs it the most is as wholesome as it gets.

Cats Protection in Birmingham has a number of pets in need of a forever home. If you are looking to add an animal to the family, the charity is a good place to start your search

The centre, located on Packwood Lane in Birmingham, has a range of cats ready to be adopted on their website who would suit a variety of households. The ages of the cats currently range from less than one year old up to the age of three, so you are likely to enjoy many happy years together.

If you think you can give a home to one of the cats, get in touch with Cats Protection. The easiest way to do this is through their website.

Reggie arrived at the centre as he was not a happy chap at the thought of having a new addition to his family, so he is now adamant that he wants a new home with no children, this is just so that he can be the centre of attention and have you all to himself.

Reggie loves to play with his toys and then have time to himself where he can go and have that all important afternoon nap.

Ariel

Ariel is one of a litter of six kittens. They are in need of a home with very understanding owners as they are very wary of humans. They will need a home where there are no children and one which will give them the time to settle and experience life at their own pace. They may never be lap cats but they will grow to be more confident around people. If you are an experienced cat owner and are looking for a rewarding challenge then get in touch with Cats Protection.

Simone

Say hello to Simone. She is three years old and was adopted as a kitten a number of years ago with her sister Nina. Her owner has now had to move into sheltered accommodation and cannot take them with him so she is back with us again.

Due to all the upheaval in her young life so far, a quiet patient home is needed for her with sensible older children or no other animals. She just needs an owner who can concentrate on giving her all the love she needs.

Simone is more confident when she is comfortable with you and loves head rubs and a quiet caring voice. She enjoys both wet and dry food and the occasional treat too. She is used to having adventures in a garden so that would be preferred.
