Animal charity Cats Protection has several abandoned and rescued cats up for adoption in Birmingham. Most of them live at their Birmingham Adoption Centre or with fosters across the city.
Many people say that cats are independent or indifferent but they just have a different way of showing love. They want their own space but also want a fuss, on their own terms. They show love and affection by purring, rolling over and showing their belly, rubbing themselves against you. When we interact with patience with cats, they are likely to show us their sweet side.
Many of the cats are strays or were rescued from multi-cat households, and would love to get a forever family home. If you want to adopt a cat from Cats Protection, you can contact them through their website.
Here are seven cats currently up for adoption in Birmingham:
1. Aisla
This kitten has so much love to give. She is playful and affectionate and will be perfect for anyone. She is a four months old Tabby and white kitten.
2. Calypso
Calypso is very sweet natured and loving but she is easily stressed so best suited to home with older children and no other pets. She has had several litters and is now looking to have her forever home in peace and quiet. She is two-years-old.
3. Candy
Candy came from a multi-cat household and is very shy. She’s a sweet girl who needs time to adjust to her new surroundings, so needs a patient, loving owner to help coax her out of her shell. As such, she will need a quiet home with no children or dogs but can be placed with other cats, including her sister Eda, who is also looking for a new home.
4. Eda
Eda came from a multi-cat household and is very timid. She’s a sweet girl who needs time to adjust to her new surroundings, so needs a patient, loving owner to help coax her out of her shell. As such, she will need a quiet home with no children or dogs but can be placed with other cats, including her sister Candy, who is also looking for a new home.
