Birmingham suburb Stirchley has won fans across Britain and beyond.
The south Birmingham neighbourhood has won a host of accolades. It was named one of the coolest places to live in the whole country by international travel magazine Conde Nast Traveller and Time Out Magazine.
And, The Sunday Times has named it the best place to live in the Midlands for 2024, praising its community spirit and indpendent bars, restaurants and cafes. Time Out Magazine described its high street as “an enticing foodie mile of craft beers, artisan pizzas, handcrafted fudge and freshly baked loaves”.
Conde Nast Magazine said: “Stirchley seems to have grown out of nowhere, though, with its main drag, Pershore Road, a pick-and-mix selection of quirky boutiques, tap houses and some of the best restaurants in Birmingham.”
The neighbourhood is so famous that London food critics Jay Rayner and Tom Parker Bowles have dined at one of its restaurants - and hailed it.
One of the most up-and-coming food destination, Stirchley is great to live in and visit. So, whether you are a resident or are travelling to Birmingham - don’t miss out on the many things this neighbourhood has to offer. You will find amazing Asian food, breweries, parks, and bakeries to hop into.
