RSPCA Birmingham (Newbrook Farm) animal charity has been taking care for several puppies and dogs - who are looking for their forever home.
The Birmingham centre for RSPCA currently has 10 dogs for adoption, according to their website. These puppies and dogs are perfect for different kinds of homes. Whether you have an adult-only home or a home with no pets or have dogs or even cats as well as kids - there’s a dog perfect for you.
Some of the dogs are older and wiser and will need less fuss while some act like puppies even though they are older. The charity also has young dogs that are less than a year or at least less than two years old - that will be right for homes with older children who won’t get knocked over by the exuberant canine friends.
Deciding to adopt a dog shouldn’t be done lightly as even the most experienced dog owners may have to return a pooch if they are not able to train it well. This can be heartbreaking for the furry friend. There are many information guides on RSPCA’s website about adopting dogs and training them that can be of help.
However, having a new pet is not just work but also a very rewarding experience as they cherish and love us as much or more than we can show our love. So, if you have been thinking about adopting a dog - here are ten that need a home right now:
5. Luna
She likes to greet her human pals with a toy in her mouth and the waggiest tail you have ever seen - a sight to warm any heart! She is a 2-year-old Bull Terrier cross. Adopters would find that Luna loves her walks, and in quiet and calm areas can relax and have a great time. The use of secure fields for offlead play would also be fantastic for Luna. | RSPCA Birmingham
6. Chase
Chase loves to play with toys and with his bonded people and his athleticism is still surprising the team, considering his size! He knows lots of commands and is very responsive to his humans, good news for a dog of his size and strength. Chase has been friendly, excitable and playful around other dogs, particularly females - he certainly does have any eye for the ladies! Chase will need to be the only dog in the home as he will need time to settle in a calm environment, however, he could certainly spend time with well socialised dogs out on walks. | RSPCA Birmingham

7. Mischief the Chief
Dashingly handsome Mischief went to RSPCA after being abandoned in his home when his owner went to prison. He is a 2-year-old crossbreed. He could live with another suitable dog in the right home, providing good meets here at the centre. He could live in a family home where kids, if present, are of mid-teen age and older. | Birmingham RSPCA

8. Snoop
This amazing lad has gone through extensive rehabilitation work with the kennels team after being removed from a very unpredictable and frightening home environment. RSPCA Birmingham are looking for a stable, adult only home with experience of transitioning rescue dogs into a home environment where a consistent and predictable routine can be set up for Snoop to help him relax and really start to enjoy life. | Birmingham RSPCA
