Celebrity MasterChef star Jamelia’s nine incredible fashion looks

Birmingham popstar and TV personality Jamelia, 42, is a woman of many talents. She is an actress, singer, mum and fashionista - who is also challenging herself in the kitchen on Celebrity MasterChef 2023.

On episode nine of series 18, Jamelia secured herself a place in the semi-final. Three contestants battled it out in the quarter-final inluding Rudimental member DJ Locksmith and opera singer and broadcaster Wynne Evans. Sadly, DJ Locksmith was eliminated but the Handsworth-born popstar made it through.

This week, in the final week of heats, Strictly Come Dancing pro Dianne Buswell, Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh, Black Eyed Peas rapper Apl.de.ap, actor Michael Praed, and Love Island’s Luca Bish will battle it out in the kitchen to go to the semi-final. They will join Jamelia, Wynne Evans, Gogglebox star Mica Ven, The Wanted’s Max George, and comedians Shazia Mirza and Marcus Brigstocke. Mirza, like Jamelia, was born in Birmingham.

The multi-tasking and multi-talented singer wrote on Instagram: “Only I would take on something like @masterchefuk in the middle of moving house, starting a new job, and breastfeeding a newborn!! But manabadman! So glad I got to do it with these amazing people!”

The Superstar singer often posts her amazing outfits along with photos of her beautiful daughters on social media. The 42-year-old mum-of-four - who joined the cast of Hollyoaks as Sharon Bailey - is not only a fashion inspiration but also a body positivity champion. In one of her recent posts, she wrote: “I think thick me is my favourite.”

The popstar shows off her lovely outfit for a party by British Vogue.

2. ‘My greatest blessings call me Mummy’

The proud mother shares a portrait with her kids - all dressed in black outfits. She wrote: “I am proud of so many things I’ve done, but nothing surpasses my pride in what I have achieved as a Mother. My greatest blessings call me ‘Mummy’.”

3. Patterns are friends

Dressed in a primark dress and an Adidas X Ivy Park jacket, the mum-of-four slayed her casual and chic outfit.

4. Date night outfit

The hitmaker wrote in her caption: “Mummy and Daddy went OUT-out last night! We had an absolute BLAST at the @mbcc_awards, such an inspirational event highlighting and recognising so many incredible individuals!”

5. Cosy in red

Looking cosy in a red outfit with a minie mouse hairband by her side, the singer wrote: “I’ve been absolutely loving the new @disneyparksuk Journey To The Magic podcast! Have you guys listened to it? The series has so many laugh out loud moments in it and features the likes of @davinaMcCall and @alisonhammond as guests!!”

6. Night out

She captioned her post: “Mummy Went out Last Night.” The popstar wore a Marks and Spencer shacket with green shoes from Public Desire.

7. ‘Dressed up and letting my hair down’

She wrote on her Instagram: “I’ve been working everyday for the last few months…I’m looking forward to getting dressed up and letting my hair down (or up and out in my case) when it’s all done and dusted.”

8. Monochrome magic

She often wears black outfits and this shirt dress looks incredible. She wrote: “I give up trying to fit this hair into pics anymore.”

9. Golden hour

The popstar wore a lovely sequined outfit for her performance at Mighty Hoopla. “I had the most amazing time performing at @MightyHoopla and the audience were just INCREDIBLE!!!” she wrote on her Instagram account.

Celebrity MasterChef UK airs at 9pm on on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Other Brummie stars like Shazia Mirzawere also on the series in which judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace put more stars to the test in the kitchen. These incredibly creative people excel in their fields but it is yet to see who will take the crown in the kitchen among them all.
