As we enter into the festive season, lovers of the festivities are wanting to get in the Christmas spirit by heading to Christmas markets located across the UK.

With searches for the ‘best UK Christmas market’ up by 104% in the last month, Parkdean Resorts have revealed the Top 10 most Instagrammable Christmas markets you need to visit in the UK - with Birmingham taking the number 1 spot!

Birmingham City Centre is currently lit up and decorated with rides, an ice skating rink, a big wheel, food stalls, and a lot more.

With over 16,740 mentions on Instagram, the stunning Christmas market in Birmingham has garnered social media love from visitors and residents.

The Birmingham Christmas market is also the longest to run. It opened on November 3 and will be on until December 23. Visitors and residents will get more time to visit the markets in Birmingham than other cities.

UK’s Best Christmas Markets

The figures show that Birmingham’s Frankfurt market has had 76,200 posts on Instagram, ahead of Manchester with 61,100 and Bath with 57,300.

It comes as no surprise that Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market has been featured in over 76,000 Instagram posts since it is the largest authentic German market outside of Austria or Germany. Birmingham Christmas Markets

There are several Christmas markets in Birmingham. Only the German Christmas Market started on November 3 while Cathedral Square and Pigeon Park’sChristmas market will take place in the grounds of Birmingham Cathedral between 16 November-18 December 2022.

Canal squarewill be open for business on December 2 as a Christmas market takes over and the Flapper in Cambrian Wharf will have a winter market at the end of this month. The iconic pub will host the Winter Market on November 27 from 1pm to 6pm.
