Animal charity Birmingham Dogs Home is looking at forever homes for dogs at their two centres in the city and Wolverhampton. They currently have more than two dozen dogs who need a family to care for them.
The centre welcomes prospective owners to spend a day with them and their prospective at the centres so those thinking about adopting a dog can get a real taste of how a dog could fit in with their homelife.
The charity is also hosting its annual Santa Paws event on December 10 at the Birmingham centre. It could be the perfect time to choose a new companion for Christmas. The charity is looking for donations as well if you don’t have room at your house for a dog.
Over the last few months, many dogs had to be rehomed because of the cost of living crisis and other issues, and charities can’t take in more dogs if the space they have is already full.
This is where you come in. Dog lovers have the chance of taking these cute fluff balls home and giving them the safety and comfort that they deserve.
Some of the dogs might be skittish at the beginning but there’s nothing that some tender, love, and care can’t solve. Whether you are single, a couple with kids, or a couple with no kids, dogs would fit right in to a loving family.
If you want to gain a family member who would be unconditionally loving and loyal, here are 10 dogs looking for a forever home in and around Birmingham:
