Animal charity Birmingham Dogs Home have several dogs up for adoption and you can could a pet parent to one of them this Easter. Dogs are intelligent creatures and have be great additions to a family or for individuals.
No matter what your lifestyle is - you can find a dog that can suit that. From lazing at home to being active adventurers, dogs can be versatile. From being great walking partners to helping humans build connections and beat loneliness, these caring creatures are great companions.
They are also incredibly helpful towards our mental health as they give us something positive to focus on, according to PDSA.
If you want to adopt any of the dogs staying at Birmingham Dogs Home, contact them through their website.
In the meantime, here are seven dogs looking for a second chance and a loving family:

1. Gaia
Gaia is a 5 years 6 months old German Shepherd. She is a very lovely, energetic dog that has likely come from a working background. She needs owners who have experience with her breed and are ready to put in the work. | Birmingham Dogs Home

2. Logan
He is a one year five months old XL Bully. He is a large happy, bouncy lad. He will need an active home to help burn off some of his energy levels and owners that are experienced in his breed. | Birmingham Dogs Home

3. Tiana
Tiana is a beautiful, big girl who just needs a little time and patience. Although she’s shy at first, if you give her space you’ll soon see her affectionate side come out. Tiana isn’t the most confident with other dogs so will be looking to be the only dog in the home, we do feel she would strongly benefit from socialisation on walks. | Birmingham Dogs Home

4. Harold
He is an eight year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He can be a nervous boy initially and can be slightly vocal. His new adopters will need to go at his pace and give him plenty of time to settle and find his feet. | Birmingham Dogs Home
