You can find a dog that suits your living situation quite easily as the RSPCA have a large number of dogs of various breeds and sizes. Whether you have young kids or teens or none - there is a dog that would fit your home.
Dogs are also incredibly helpful towards improving our mental health as they give us something positive to focus on, according to PDSA.

In the meantime, here are seven dogs looking for a second chance and a loving family:

5. Kita
Kita has lived with dogs previously but her owners said she was very bossy, and wouldn’t want to socialise with others when out and about. RSPCA Birmingham have found she can be a bit of a diva but she responds well to her handler and likes to be told what a good girl she is when she listens to you. New owners will need to continue her reward based training when out and about. | RSPCA

6. Mischief
He could live with another suitable dog in the right home, providing good meets here at the centre. He could live in a family home where kids, if present, are of mid-teen age and older. We are looking for active, capable adopters with some experience of rescue dogs and / or dogs of similar breed to understand Mischief and help him settle into his fantastic new life. | RSPCA

7. Shyla
Shyla is a 3-year-old Bull Terrier crossbreed and the animal centre is looking for an experienced adult home with the right practical set up to give this big powerful girl her new start in life. Adopters will want to visit Shyla here at the centre a few times to begin building a strong bond with her prior to transitioning her into her new home. (Photo - RSPCA Birmingham) | RSPCA
