A beautiful white cat abandoned in a carrier at a market is looking for a forever home. She was found by a concerned member of the public who called in the RSPCA.

Jewel was found to be in good health and made herself at home very quickly at the Birmingham Animal Centre at Newbrook Farm. She is a 3-year-old Domestic shorthair crossbreed cat.

She has shown herself to be very loving as well as very independent, which is the best of both worlds when it comes to cats. In her lovey-dovey moments, Jewel loves nothing more than to climb onto your lap, purring loudly and having all the fuss and love you have to offer, says RSPCA.

And on days where she is feeling more adventurous, Jewel likes to explore the main cattery floor by herself, playing with toys she finds on her way.

She is playful but also knows her own mind and is looking for a home where she can have all the fuss she deserves when she wants it, and to be given space when she needs her alone time. She would prefer to live with children of secondary school age. She could also live with a friendly dog.

There are several other cats available for adoption at RSPCA Birmingham. If you are looking for a Jewel in your life, then please fill in an adoption form available on RSPCA’s website and email it to [email protected].
