Hide AdHarborne has long had a reputation as one of Birmingham's most appealing locations to live. The neighbourhood's relaxed atmosphere gives residents sanctuary away from the busy city centre, while still being able to enjoy all what Britain's second biggest city has to offer.
Harborne has a thriving High Street with an excellent independent food scene, and Muddy Stilettos also named Harborne one of the best places to live in the UK in a recent guide.
It’s also home to some of the top schools in the city including Harborne Academy.
The 2025 guide says: “Harborne, Birmingham B17’s leafy streets are home to an entire property ladder’s worth of attractive period homes, plentiful parks, top primary schools, and a heavenly food scene.
