5. Clent, Bromsgrove
The parish is walking distance from the Clent Hills - which has an architectural landmark. It’s perfect for long walks with the family and to see a view of Birmingham from the top. 6. Hampton in Arden, Solihull
Hampton in Arden is a village and civil parish located in the Forest of Arden in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull. The Forest of Arden has featured in Shakespeare’s plays and the neighbourhood has incredible history behind it. It is also home to some great restaurants - located inside Hampton Manor. 7. Catherine de Barnes in Solihull
Catherine de Barnes village is close to Hampton in Arden and is another lovely Solihull village. The name is derived from Ketelberne, a 12th century lord. 8. Earlswood, Solihull
Earlswood is home to the three 22 acre reservoirs of Earlswood Lakes, where you can go sailing, fishing and walking. You can get a season permit from the Canal and River Trust to go fishing there.
