Hans Airways, a start-up airline at Birmingham Airport, is looking for cabin crew to join the team. The budget air passenger carrier is increasing its number of staff as it hopes to commence long-distance flights to Northern India in the near future.

The company, which is the UK’s newest hybrid, long-haul airline, has expressed the desire to recruit 20 more cabin crew for its Birmingham base. This news will be welcomed by those hoping to either kickstart or continue a career in aviation.

Hans Airways managed to perform a formal flight on August 31 for the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) - proving its safety. The previous day, 55 guests were welcomed on a familiarisation test flight from Birmingham to Glasgow Prestwick.

What are the job requirements?

The new airline is looking for cabin crew who are aged 18 or over at the time of application. Candidates must be between 5ft 2ins and 6ft 2ins tall and fluent in both English and Punjabi. More information can be found on the Birmingham Airport website.
