Emirates is beginning its search for talented and dedicated workers to add to their cabin crew staff - and they’re holding an open day in Birmingham. Brummies who’ve fantasised about travelling across the globe will get a chance to realise their dreams and earn some money while they’re doing it!

The Emirates open day will be held on November 1 at Novotel Birmingham Centre with a start time of 9am. Being a cabin crew member with Emirates comes with certain perks, too.

Not only will you get concession travel with several airline companies, you’ll also be given free accomodation in Dubai. The average monthly wage that an Emirates cabin crew member receives is £2280 tax free, which is based on being a crew member for economy class passengers.

The Emirates website reads: “Many of our cabin crew describe the role as the best job in the world, not only because they deliver award-winning service at 38,000 feet, but also for the unique lifestyle that comes with the job. With Emirates serving over 150 cities across 85 countries, every day is a new opportunity to experience somewhere new.”

The recruitment push comes as a means to get the company back on its feet after Covid-19. As airports were closed for business during the lockdowns, it caused waves throughout the tourism and aviation industries.

What will I need to bring with me to the Emirates recruitment day?

You will only need to bring your CV and a clear photograph of yourself along with you to the open day. You can attend the day even if you haven’t applied online - however, if you would like to, you can book your place at the open day on the Emirates website.
