When is February half term in Birmingham? Date schools are off for mid-term break - and when do they go back?

The half term holiday is almost upon us. To children it will come as a relief to have a break from the hustle and bustle of school life, whilst parents will probably be wondering just how another school holiday has come around again.

The February half term is a week break that comes in the middle of the spring term for schools in England.

In Birmingham, the February break this year runs from Monday 21 to Friday 25, meaning that pupils across the city will be finishing the first half of the spring term on Friday, 18 February.

It may have felt as though it has come around quick, too quick to have anything planned with your children, but fear not.

Children in Birmingham will return to school on 28 February and will be in school until Friday 8 April, when they will break up for a two week long break for Easter.

The Easter break will run from Monday 11 April to Friday 22 April.
