The University of Warwick has claimed the top spot, earning the title of the best university in the Midlands, as announced by The Sunday Times.
At the other end of the spectrum, the University of Wolverhampton ranked lowest among universities in the region, reflecting a drop in its standing within the UK’s top universities, as detailed in the prestigious guide.
The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025 unveiled the rankings for universities across the Midlands and the UK.

5. University of Nottingham

6. Aston University

7. Nottingham Trent University
Nottingham Trent came in at number seven in the Midlands and ranked 42nd nationally. It was also The Sunday Times Good University Guide's runner up for Modern University of the Year, 2025.
