Ofsted inspectors travel nationwide to evaluate schools, ensuring they are effectively educating and preparing students for further education and community life.
Each school inspected before September 2024 was given a rating – outstanding, good, requires improvement, or inadequate.
Starting from September 2024, Ofsted ceased making overall effectiveness judgments in state-funded school inspections. However, they released new reports for Birmingham schools based on summer inspections conducted before the rating system was discontinued.
