Sports professionals from organisations including The Premier League, Rugby Football Union and the England & Wales Cricket Board can now benefit from Swift Psychology’s support afterapproval as a recognised provider from Health Partners Europe Limited (HPE), the UK's largest provider of elite sports medical care in the UK.

A further collaboration with the Uprawr Mental Health Foundation will enable Swift Psychology to help young people within the rock and alternative music community.

Dr. Michael Swift, Senior Psychologist and Managing Director of Swift Psychology commented: “Having already supported Premier League and Championship footballers, we understand that elite athletes face unique psychological challenges. Their talent, focus and determination to be the best can lead to concerns with perfectionism and anxiety.

"We are proud to be enhancing the supportive environment HPE has created for sporting professionals. In joining the network, Swift Psychology Services reinforces its commitment to delivering high-quality, performance-focused and evidence based psychological support to more players, clubs and agents.”

Dr. Swift has been unveiled as Uprawr’s new Head of Counselling, bringing over 10 years’ experience in healthcare settings and as a Doctor of Health Psychology and Consultant Psychotherapist. He added: “Metal and rock music are an important part of my own journey and I would describe the alternative scene as bold, expressive and deeply human. With this partnership, we’re working to break down barriers and create a space where everyone feels seen and heard. I want to use my experience to help provide free, accessible mental health support to those in need.”
