Shirley care home hosts successful health and wellbeing event
Fountains Care Home proudly announces the success of its recent health and wellbeing event, which welcomed residents and the local community for a day dedicated to health checks and consultations.
This initiative was planned to promote wellness and provide essential health services in a comfortable environment.
The event featured the participation of Specsavers, who conducted eye and hearing tests consultations, allowing attendees to receive professional consultations and schedule future appointments right on site. This seamless approach made it easier for individuals to access important health services without the need to travel or attend more than one appointment.
In addition to health screenings, guests enjoyed freshly baked cakes and refreshments, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone present.
One resident, who has been at Fountains home for some time, expressed appreciation for the event, stating, "It was a lovely idea to get everything done all together without having to go out. It made it so much easier for us."
