Sixth formers and their teachers at Lift Greenwood, part of Lift Schools, are celebrating today as they collect their A Level and vocational qualifications results.
After two years of hard work and dedication by students, with support from their families and teachers, students are finding out how they have done and where they will be going next.
Lift Greenwood is celebrating particularly strong results achieved by many students including:

- Ashleigh Guy gained A* in Psychology, A in Law and B in English Literature and is going to the University of Birmingham to study English Literature.
- Benjamin Rudd achieved A in Psychology, B in Biology and C in Chemistry and is going to the University of Leeds to study Neuroscience.
- Skyla Wigley gained B in Biology, B in Chemistry and C in Mathematics.
This year’s cohort were in year 8 at the start of the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns, with uncertainties and disruption as they prepped for their A Levels. The resilience and hard work shown by this group of students has been impressive, reflected both in their results and determination to do well.
To help prepare for this year’s examinations, the school has run extra classes including holiday sessions and provided additional 1:1 online tutoring with fantastic support from the teaching staff.
Principal at Lift Greenwood, Daniel Opoku, said:
