A new youth initiative in Birmingham is set to open as Community Plaza in the hope of turning vulnerable youths away from crime and back in education and employment.

The youth hub will be based in Bordesley Green and will be under the supervision of UK Global Youth Ambassador Mohammed Zafran who is a national award winning humanitarian. Zaf has already delivered over 200 projects in the City.

Global Youth Ambassador Zaf is really excited about this new hub and said:

'The main reason Community Plaza will exist is to help the youths to come to the hub to spend time and utilise their energy in a positive way engaging in sports, workshops, listening to inspirational speakers and becoming role models for other youths who might need support.'

Zaf, who has turned over 43,000 youths away from crime feels the need for more youth hubs is a necessity because youths don't know where to go in their spare time and once they get with the wrong crowd then that's when the alarm bells start ringing.

Community Plaza will be promoting Snooker tournaments, Board games, Table Tennis, Darts and various workshops with the West Midlands Police so that youths can gain greater knowledge in what is happening in the community.

This project will give opportunities to many Businesses in the UK to come and support this venture so it remains there for the long haul.
