Charity Feedo Needo seeks partnerships with mental health organisations to support service users

Award-winning charity and food bank, Feedo Needo, is seeking partnerships with mental health organisations and trained professionals, to expand its services and meet the growing demand among those experiencing poverty and homelessness.

Feedo Needo, part of UKCAB, UK Curriculum and Accreditation Body (UKCAB) is making space at its centres in Birmingham, Bradford, London, Manchester, and Leicester for organisations able to provide counselling, advice, emotional or psychological support to service users, either through regular sessions or on an ad hoc basis.

This move reflects the charity’s commitment to providing multifaceted care to vulnerable groups, including those experiencing homelessness or food insecurity by providing a safe and welcoming community centre. Through the power of collaboration Feedo Needo is looking to work with like-minded organisations to create a greater collective impact to vulnerable individuals around the UK.

"This year, our focus is to enhance our service offering, becoming a one-stop hub that builds on the services we already offer - food bags, free haircuts, a ‘keeping warm’ hub, community centre, as well as laundry services and wellbeing sessions. Our hope is to integrate mental health support and other critical support into this model, by partnering with likeminded organisations who want to make a positive contribution to their local communities.

"Partnerships within the mental health community will be a crucial next step in ensuring we can offer even more well-rounded care to those who need it most.”

Feedo Needo’s has significantly grown the number of vulnerable families and individuals it supports through its centres. In 2022, the project assisted 50 families, rising to 70-80 families in 2023. By December 2024, Feedo Needo was consistently supporting 100 families, and in January 2025, this number surged to 138-140 parcels, with 140 delivered in February 2025. Arabica Café, part of the Feedo Needo charity, provides a warm, safe space and free meals to over 5,000 monthly users around the country.
