Celebrations for 90th birthday at Birmingham care home

Church Rose, a leading care home in Handsworth, hosted the memorable 90th birthday celebration for Christopher Flaherty, a cherished resident.

Born in Galway, Ireland, Christopher moved to Birmingham, where he worked for a few well-known local firms. These included Land Rover in Solihull and at Birmingham's main post office as a security guard. Having lived in Hall Green, he has always been a central figure in his family and community.

The milestone was marked with a joyful party at Church Rose, complete with colourful balloons, a beautifully decorated cake, and the warm company of Christopher’s family, friends, and fellow residents. It was a heartwarming occasion that showcased the care home’s dedication to celebrating life’s special moments.
