Brummies can bag free tickets for a drone light show, but only if you’re called Charles or Charlie

The company, Yuup, has pledged to give away free tickets to anyone named Charles or Charlie in the scheme which will be running until 11:59 BST on 15 September 2024 to celebrate the innovative new show coming to Edgbaston Stadium on 26 October 2024.
Evolution, the epic drone light show created by Celestial was first piloted in 2023, and due to great success is touring across the UK, including Birmingham, where the greatest story of all time will be performed within Edgbaston Stadium.

Hide AdThe initiative will allow those with the names Charles or Charlie, paying homage to Charles Darwin, to apply for a free ticket to an Evolution show of their choice.
Those lucky enough to have this first name should go to the Yuup website – yuup.co/evolution-free-tickets – where they will be asked to complete a short form to prove their identity. If accepted, the complimentary ticket codes will be released on Monday 16th September.
