An Aldi colleague in Stechford is celebrating their work anniversary after 25 years at the UK’s fourth-largest supermarket.

Clare Forbes, a Deputy Store Manager at the Stechford store, first joined the supermarket in 1999 after previously working as a waitress.

After joining as a Store Assistant initially, Clare worked at the Acocks Green store before being promoted to Deputy Store Manager and then returning to the Stechford store.

Clare is an integral part of Aldi’s Stechford store team and has gone above and beyond in her role over the years.

Speaking of her time at Aldi, Clare commented: “My career with Aldi has been so rewarding. I’ve been able to work with a great team and helped so many of our customers, so I couldn’t ask for more.”

As for a Specialbuy that gets her running to the middle aisle, Clare said: “It has to be the hanging egg chair - it’s perfect for relaxing in.”
